Dream comes true, landed at Air Force Base, Ambala Cantt!

In an incredible act of grace and generosity towards me, Rotarians and Citizens of Ambala Cantt, Air Officer Commanding L .K. Chawla granted me the very rare, if ever granted, permission to land and park my plane at the Air Force Base. Not only did he grant me the permission, he also along with his staff, Chief Administrative Officer N. K. Singh and Chief Operating Officer A. Srivastava,  greeted me to the base. I thank them all and Wing Commander Rahul Monga from the bottom of my heart for helping my dream come true.

After the reception at the base, I was driven with police escort to my home. Then later, I was invited by the Rotarians in Ambala as Guest of Honor to their installation meeting. The next morning I was invited as Chief Guest to the Annual prize distribution function at the Taneja Public school. I am extremely humbled by the reception accorded to me their native son, by Ambala Rotarians and Citizens. I am simply overwhelmed.

Mission continues, next stop Kolkata!

  1. We continue to bask in glory of your sunshine, dear Ravi. I request all my friends,well-wishers,family-members, citizens of Ambala and my country to fully support your cause by contributing as much as possible.
The example being set by you needs to emulated by one and all.

  2. Ravi ever since, you landed at Ambala Cantt, we are watching your busy schedule. You are visiting different institutions, organisations, clubs etc to motivate people to contribute for the Rotary Ambala Cancer and General Hospital. We are really impressed with your generosity, agility and humility! We wish you a very successful, purposeful and safe journey ahead!

  3. Finding it difficult to express my sentiments.I had to go to Sept ,1967 days at MNR Allahabad where together ( along with Ravi) we were roped in by college seniors to rag us.
Ragging days friends have a common cause to remain bonded for ever . That is why ,meeting him after 50 years at Ambala on 25th July 2017 along with Prem Singla was same old nostalgic togetherness.
We have more than one reason to be thrilled & delighted for Ravis feat ,being from Ambala ,besides Ravi is an alumni from Monereco with us.
    Good luck Ravi

  4. Ravi, the week spent with you in home has been an unforgettable experience not only for me but for everybody around us. The children are feeling so motivated as if they will jump to touch the sky.
I could never imagine that one act of bravery and valor can bring transformation in so many lives. Subhash Bansal
